The Town's Development Staff has a can-do attitude when it comes to helping you through the planning phase of your project. Pre-application development meetings can be arranged by the Economic Development Coordinator and serve to help identify the issues specific to your proposal so they can be dealt with on the staff level prior to submitting a formal application before our land use commissions. The process and timeframe for a commercial development can vary based on the activity involved. For instance, if a project involves development within a regulated wetland area, the timeframe may be greater than if it did not. In all cases, Town Development Staff will assist you by providing meeting schedules and application submission deadlines to help facilitate planning.

The Chamber of Commerce plays an active role promoting business in Rocky Hill as well. Beside basic membership privileges, the local Chamber hosts "Business After Hours" events designed to offer the perfect opportunity for networking in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
