Design Review

The purpose of Design Review is to enhance the community. It provides guidance in preserving and improving the character, appearance and aesthetics of the community. It also serves to protect Rocky Hill's architectural heritage as well as to preserve property values throughout the Town.

The Design Review Advisory Board reviews, comments and makes written recommendations on all developments requiring Site Plan review by the Planning & Zoning Commission. Site design and landscape alterations, as well as all changes to facades of non-residential buildings are also reviewed by the Board.

The Design Review Advisory Board meets at regularly scheduled meetings as well as on an as-needed basis to consider applications filed directly with it or referred to it by the Planning & Zoning Commission.
